This is a lament. There is a lot to be sad about in this world today. Mental health issues are talked about a lot more these days and I think that is a good thing. There is nothing shameful about struggling. Struggles are a real part of the human experience which is why I always liked the book called Ecclesiastes in the Bible, because it doesn't try to hide these difficult emotions or paint a rosy picture. It is part of life to go through these shady or dark times but in the end love will endure. There is always hope.
